Terms of Service

HireAlt helps you build a career profile, create tailored resumes, track applications, and prepare for interviews. You must be at least 16 years old, and you must provide accurate account information.

You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your password private. Tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

When you use HireAlt, you agree to:

• Use the product for your own lawful job search and career purposes.
• Review AI-generated resumes and insights before you send them to an employer.
• Keep your login details secure.
• Stay within your plan’s usage limits.
• Comply with employer and job-board rules when you apply to roles.

You own the resumes, job descriptions, and other career materials you upload or type into HireAlt. You grant HireAlt a limited license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to provide the service — for example, to parse a resume, generate a tailored version, score job fit, or show your tracker.

We do not claim ownership of your career story. If you delete content or close your account, we stop using it except for copies we must keep for security, backup, or legal reasons.

Do not use HireAlt to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use, including another person’s resume without permission.
• Misrepresent your identity, work history, or credentials.
• Break the law, harass others, or distribute malware.
• Probe, scrape, or overload our systems, or try to bypass plan limits or security.
• Resell, reverse engineer, or copy the HireAlt product except as allowed by law.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules so we can protect the service and other users.

Several HireAlt features use AI. AI can make mistakes, miss context, or produce wording that is not a perfect match for your background. Output is a starting point, not a guarantee of interviews, offers, or ATS results.

• You are responsible for checking facts, dates, titles, and skills before you apply.
• Do not treat match scores or ATS insights as official employer decisions.
• HireAlt is not a law firm, career counselor of record, or employer.

We work to keep HireAlt available and reliable. We do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and we may pause access for maintenance, security, or circumstances outside our control.

Some capabilities — including paid AI features — depend on third-party providers. If a provider is slow or unavailable, those features may be delayed.

HireAlt currently offers a free Starter plan and paid Pro and Premium plans. Paid billing may be enabled as we grow. When paid plans are active:

• Prices and included limits are shown at checkout and on the Pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, unless we say otherwise.
• You can cancel anytime. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Fees already paid are generally not refunded, except where the law requires it.
• We may change prices or plan limits. If we do, we will give reasonable notice for changes that affect an active paid subscription.
• Taxes may apply based on your location.

If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until billing is updated.

HireAlt is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties that the service will be error-free, that AI output will be accurate, or that using HireAlt will result in a job.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, HireAlt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost interviews, lost offers, or lost profits — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for HireAlt in the 12 months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (or the equivalent).

Some places do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

You may stop using HireAlt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the product. Where reasonable, we will give notice.

We may update these terms as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using HireAlt and close your account.
